Unlike the English knight bannerets, the Dutch Banneret - or Bannerheer - was a nobleman who bore his own banner. His clothing may be as accurate as a Robin Hood movie, but that made him even more fun to draw.

Sometimes you never get around to finishing a piece. This (fantasy) harbour scene shows various stages of rendering from lineart to final version. Most of the colours were still needed tweaking.

Sinterklaas is not only the original Santa Claus, but he's also vastly superior to that fake knockoff who terrorizes elves. And doing a walk-animation of someone with a staff was simply fun.
